Saturday, Sept 19th: YFC Move-in Day (8am-12pm) We are partnering with Youth For Christ to help them move back into their downtown teen center after a year of renovations. They need folks to help with transporting items back to the center, cleaning/prepping items to move, and physically moving items into rooms. Pizza provided after! Email Meg to RSVP @ meg@yfcnow.org
Sunday, Sept 27th: Family Sunday Potluck Join us at 5:15pm at the White’s for a joint AM/PM potluck as we enjoy delicious food, fellowship, and celebrating September birthdays! Monday, Sept 28th: “Come & See” Night - 6:30pm-8:00pm Do you long for greater intimacy in your relationship with Jesus? Do you desire to be part of a community where you will be known and loved, right where you are? Do you want to learn how to see and hear Jesus more clearly in your life? Join us at Pastors Joseph & Heidi’s home for an evening of seeing first-hand how group spiritual direction — the ancient practice of slowing down & paying attention to what Jesus is doing in one another’s lives — may be the next step Jesus is inviting you to take with Him! Childcare will be provided for those who need it. Please RSVP to Heidi (559.852.8431).

Graves to Gardens
I searched the world
But it couldn't fill me
Man's empty praise
And treasures that fade
Are never enough
Then You came along
And put me back together
And every desire
Is now satisfied
Here in Your love
Oh, there's nothing better than You
There's nothing better than You
Lord, there's nothing
Nothing is better than You
I'm not afraid
To show You my weakness
My failures and flaws
Lord, You've seen 'em all
And You still call me friend
'Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
There's not a place
Your mercy and grace
Won't find me again
Oh, there's nothing better than You
There's nothing better than You
Lord, there's nothing
Nothing is better than You
You turn mourning to dancing
You give beauty for ashes
You turn shame into glory
You're the only one who can
You turn graves into garden
You turn bones into armies
You turn seas into highways
You're the only one who can
You're the only one who can
Oh, there's nothing better than You
There's nothing better than You
Lord, there's nothing
Nothing is better than You
Tumbas a jardines
El mundo busqué
Y no pudo llenarme
Ningún tesoro
Que pueda ganar
Me saciará
Mas llegaste tú
Me diste vida nueva
Y cada deseo se cumplirá
Aquí en tu amor, ¡eh!
Oh, no hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor que mi Dios
Vengo a ti
Sin miedo, sin reservas
Cada fracaso
Has visto Señor
Y aún tu amigo soy
Porque el Dios de los montes
Es el Dios de los valles
No hay lugar que me pueda alejar
De tu gracia y amor
Oh, no hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor que mi Dios
Cambias lamento en danza
De cenizas traes vida
Cambias culpa por gloria
Sé que solo Tú lo harás
De las ruinas y tumbas
Nacen nuevos jardines
Resucitas los huesos
Sé que solo Tú lo harás
Sé que solo Tú lo harás
Oh, no hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor
No hay nada
Nada mejor que mi Dios
A Litany of Trust
From the belief that
I have to earn Your love
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that I am unlovable
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the false security
that I have what it takes
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that trusting You
will leave me more destitute
Deliver me, Jesus.
From all suspicion of
Your words and promises
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the rebellion against
childlike dependency on You
Deliver me, Jesus.
From refusals and reluctances
in accepting Your will
Deliver me, Jesus.
From anxiety about the future
Deliver me, Jesus.
From resentment or excessive
preoccupation with the past
Deliver me, Jesus.
From restless self-seeking
in the present moment
Deliver me, Jesus.
From disbelief in Your love and presence
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being asked
to give more than I have
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the belief that my life
has no meaning or worth
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of what love demands
Deliver me, Jesus.
From discouragement
Deliver me, Jesus.
That You are continually holding me,
sustaining me, loving me
Jesus, I trust in You.
That Your love goes deeper than my
sins and failings and transforms me
Jesus, I trust in You.
That not knowing what tomorrow
brings is an invitation to lean on You
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You are with me in my suffering
Jesus, I trust in You.
That my suffering, united to Your own,
will bear fruit in this life and the next
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You will not leave me orphan,
that You are present in Your Church
Jesus, I trust in You.
That Your plan is better
than anything else
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You always hear me and in
Your goodness always respond to me
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You give me the grace to accept
forgiveness and to forgive others
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You give me all the strength
I need for what is asked
Jesus, I trust in You.
That my life is a gift
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You will teach me to trust You
Jesus, I trust in You.
That You are my Lord and my God
Jesus, I trust in You.
That I am Your beloved one
Jesus, I trust in You.
Come Thou Fount
Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here by Thy great help I've come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the fold of God
He to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
Oh, to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be
Let Thy goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, oh take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Here's my heart
Oh take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Aquí por tu gran ayuda he venido
Ata mi corazón errante a Ti
Propenso a vagar, Señor, lo siento
Propenso a dejar al Dios que amo
Aquí está mi corazón, oh tómalo y séllalo
Séllalo para tus atrios arriba
aquí está mi corazón
Oh, tómalo y séllalo
Séllalo para tus atrios arriba
We Crown You
To the One who wore
A crown of thorns
To the One who took
The lash and scourge
For the hands and feet
That were pierced by nails
For the sacrifice
That has torn the veil
We crown You!
We fall face down and we worship!
We all cry out "You are worthy God!"
"You are worthy, God!"
We crown You!
We fall face down and we worship!
We all cry out "You are worthy God!"
"You are worthy, God!"
To the One who gave
His very life away
Who took upon Himself
All our guilt and shame
Hanging on a cross
For the world He loved
With His precious blood
Purchased men for God
We crown You!
We fall face down and we worship!
We all cry out "You are worthy God!"
"You are worthy, God!"
To the One
Who endured
All the shame of the cross
To the Lamb
Who was slain
As atonement for us
To the Son
Who overcame
All the power of death
We praise...
For the stripes
For the wounds
For the beating You bore
For the tears
For the blood
That was willingly poured
For the merciful, wonderful, majesty of Your love!
Te Exaltamos
Corona Vistio
De espinas y dolor
Azotado Fue
Por Nuestra Rebelion
Sus manos y pies
Un clavo perforo
Sacrificio que
El velo rasgo
Te exaltamos
No postramos y adoramos
Clamamos Hoy
Eres Digno Dios
Eres Digno Dios
Sea honor al que
Su vida entrego
De culpa vistio
Mi pecador llevo
Sobre aquella cruz
Por el mundo que amo
Con su sangre El
Para Dios nos compro
Para aquel
Que Aguanto
La verguenza en la cruz
Cordero que murio
Por nuestra salvacion
Al hijo que vencio
Tinieblas destruyo
Te Adoramos
Llagas y heridas
Soportaste Senor
Tu sangre fue la que
Derramaste Jesus
Por la maravillos
Majestad de Tu amor
