We believe in our expression of the Church.

We focus on Jesus and we aren’t obsessed with our programs, buildings or budgets. We believe that when we gather together to worship Jesus, love people, and serve our neighborhood we are truly the body of Christ.

We hope you visit any of our house churches. We know that being with a big group of people can feel great (trust us, our staff used to lead big churches) but we believe that in 2023 people need to be seen and known. We are at our best when we can truly love one another and do life together. Jesus himself created a small community with whom he pursued his mission. Our church is a great place to start a journey into a more basic and authentic version of church as we know it.

You should know though, just because we value small church doesn’t mean we have a small impact. It’s just the opposite.

FAQs

Do I need to live in the Jackson Neighborhood to attend?

No! About half our church family lives in other neighborhoods.

How long is the Sunday service?

Our gathering lasts about 1 hour. Sometimes we are a little longer and sometimes a little shorter. We try to leave plenty of time to hang out before and after.

How many people attend?

Our house churches grow to about 50 people.

Is there childcare?

Yes! During our service, children will be dismissed along with caring adult mentors for age specific teaching.

What is a Sunday Service like?

We always sing worship songs, listen to someone teach out of a text of scripture, and then we discuss its impact in our lives. You don’t have to share, but it’s always welcome. And on the last Sunday of every month, we have a family-style potluck with singing, storytelling, and delicious food!

Where do you meet?

We meet at 3327 E. Huntington Blvd @9am & 3263 E. Kerckhoff Ave. @4pm You will be welcomed with open arms! There are always new people visiting. Give it a try!
