WHAT’S HAPPENING IN DECEMBER
Dec 19th-21st - Women’s Retreat @ the Campus Life Center (CLC) For our ladies in high school and above, this is a time to intentionally slow down and make space for God and one another. Good food, time in God’s word and in conversation with one another, a white elephant gift exchange and lots of fun and laughter -you don’t want to miss this! Our weekend begins Friday at 6pm and ends Sunday at 11am. A registration link will be sent out the first week of December.
Sat, Dec 20th - Saturday Sports Christmas Celebration from 9-11am Come join us at the Jackson Elementary cafeteria for a morning of games, Christmas crafts, gingerbread house building and bbq lunch! There will also be a shoe giveaway - please contact Sarah Valentine by Dec 19th if you need some shoes (svalentine@jacksoncdc.org). For kids ages 0-18 and their families. Consider inviting a family from your neighborhood!
Wed, Dec 24th - Christmas Eve Service @ the White’s (11am) Join us as we celebrate Jesus’ birth and await his second coming. There will be a tamale lunch to follow for those who would like to join! Please RSVP to Heidi (559.852.8431) if you plan to stay for lunch.
Sun, Dec 28th - Family Sunday Potluck @ 5:15pm Join us at the White’s following the PM gathering for food, fellowship, and celebrating our December birthdays! Please bring a side dish to share for 6-8 people (last name A-M = salad/veggie; N-Z = fruit). Mains and desserts are taken care of.
WSM Youth Wednesdays @ 6:00pm: For 6th-12th grade students, we are partnering this year with The Well’s Student Ministry (WSM) gathering on Wednesday nights from 6-8:15pm. Dinner is at 6pm, with games, worship, Bible teaching, and small group sharing to follow starting at 6:30pm. Want a ride? Meet at the White’s home at 5:30pm! Otherwise, we’ll see you there! - 4545 N. Palm Ave. NOTE: Dec 10th is the final WSM gathering until January.
Wednesday’s @ 6:30pm: Happy Hour Bible Study - Join us as we study God’s word together at the Frappe House (2777 E. Nees) from 6:30-8:00pm. We are meeting this month on Dec 10th & 17th. Text Calida at 559.908.0645 for questions or details.
